1. Advance Payment Terms
At Preparing Web, we require advance payment to initiate any project. This secures your spot in our workflow, and allows us to begin the design, research, planning, and setup processes necessary for delivering your real estate website development service.
2. No Refunds After Work Commences
Once the project has been started or any deliverables (such as design drafts, domain setup, or hosting setup) have been initiated or shared:
- No refunds will be issued, either partial or full.
- This applies even if the client chooses to cancel the project midway.
3. Refund Eligibility (Before Work Begins)
If the client requests a cancellation before any work has begun:
- A 50% refund of the advance amount may be granted, depending on the situation.
- The client must contact us within 48 hours of payment for any refund eligibility.
4. Exceptions (No Refund Will Be Issued If):
- You delay the project for over 10 days and then cancel.
- You become unresponsive during the project timeline.
- You change the scope of work after we’ve already begun.
- You claim a refund after we’ve delivered part or full service.
- You request features or services not included in the package and decline paid upgrades.
5. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for “change of mind” or if you no longer need the website. Please ensure you’re fully committed before initiating a project.
6. Payment Gateway Fees
If a refund is approved, the original payment gateway or processing fee (typically 2–5%) will be deducted from the refund amount.
